After your safety briefing on day one paddle out of Marahau, head north and have a night at one of D.O.C's coastal campsite.
Day two: paddle back to Marahau.

Three Day Marahau to Totaranui, two day kayak one day walk
Here's a three day trip with a bit of everything the Abel Tasman coast line can offer. Discover the full length of the Park with a combination of freedom kayaking and hiking.
Day One: After your kayak briefing paddle from Marahau to Anchorage and have a night of camping in Anchorage.
Day Two: freedom kayak further up the coast through the Tonga Island Marine Reserve to Onetahuti the point where your Kayaks will be picked up. You will camp for the night either at Onetahuti or Awaroa depending on the tidal crossing at Awaroa.
Day Three: hike north through rain forest and along golden beaches to Totaranui to meet the Water taxi which will bring you back to Marahau.
