Best day of kayaking

My boyfriend and I went on what turned out to be a private kayaking tour with Aron. After a water taxi ride to Bark Bay, we went on our way heading for Torrent Bay. We encountered seals, birds and of course beautiful scenery on the way. Aron had lots to share as he navigated us past little bays, rocks and even open sea. We really enjoyed the trip and owe a thanks to Aron and the Sea Kayak Company.

“Excellent day in and around †Tonga‡ Marine Reserve”

Picked up at the appointed hour from our accommodation in Marahau then taken to water taxis for 30 min trip to the beach near Tonga Island. Had coffee and carrott cake then briefing, got kitted up and then headed off - nice touch. Excellent young guide who knew everything about the area, was entertaining and a good host. Saw seals and puffins and a ray. Impressive coastline and with calm weather was ideal kayaking area. Lunch was relaxed and we had time for a swim and short walk. We raised a sail (6 kayaks) and sailed back to the final beach with a perfect sea breeze behind us. A fantastic day out that everybody enjoyed - highly recommended.
